At the end of June 2019, FES hosted one of the world's leading experts on biochar, Professor Dinesh Mohan. His lecture “Engineered Biochar - A Smart and Sustainable Solution to Biomass Burning, Soil Management, Food Security, Water Purification and Climate Change Mitigation” was an interesting inspiration/stimulus for new research related to “biochar” at CULS. At the same time, it was one of the first activities of the emerging biochar platform at FES.
Dinesh Mohan (H-index = 60, Thomson Reuters Highly Cited Researcher School of Environmental Sciences Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi 110067, INDIA) lectured at FES as part of his visit, the aim of which was to prepare Czech-Indian collaboration on a joint project with FES.
