In March 2020, a trademark was filed with the Czech University of Life Sciences Prague under the name Kompochar. Garden substrate Kompochar consists of an ideal ratio of compost, composed only of biodegradable waste without plastics, and biochar. The content of biochar in the final product increases the synergistic effect of compost in the soil, at the same time the substrate shows increased retention capacity of water and given nutrients.
