Scientists from the Czech University of Life Sciences and the Institute of Botany of the Czech Academy of Sciences have collaborated to develop a functional sample of a complex fertilizer for organic farming. The soil additive takes the form of pellets made from waste plant fibers with the addition of biochar enriched with beneficial microbes (Trichoderma, mycorrhizal fungi, Bacillus bacteria, and others). The functional sample is currently being tested by Groown s.r.o., which is verifying its commercial use and production.
