The PX1500 pyrolysis unit was put into operation at PREOL on November 1, 2024. It is a pyrolysis of agricultural post-harvest residues (chaff) from the processing of rapeseed, the expected minimum annual production of biochar is 715 tons with an input of 2350 tons of chaff.
The supplier of the pyrolyzer was HST Hydrosystémy, the manufacturer of the unit was Pyreg, Germany. The unit is currently undergoing comprehensive tests and has successfully passed the authorized emission measurement.
